Our Philosophy
At Women of Purpose & Valor, our goal is to empower, build up, edify and support women as they walk in their purpose.
We all have a purpose in this life, it’s the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists: so, when we understand this, we then can begin to walk in our worth. As women we don’t value ourselves, we take care of everyone else but don’t take time for us. So, with this group we are going to create an environment that we find and start walking in our Purpose.. Valor is to have great courage. We want to become women that have purpose and not be afraid to do what it takes.
Support
Supporting each other as we heal, grow and as we are walking in our purpose.
Building up by providing resources that will empower women in learning about personal finances, taxes, good nutrition and cooking skills. Entrepreneurship, how to start a business or side hustle.
Emotional support, we all have struggles anxiety or just moments of uncertainty. We want to provide support and resources.
But the most important thing is to provide guidance for spiritual growth, understanding God's word and applying the word of God to our lives.
Teaching Others
Teaching younger women to be "Women of Purpose & Valor." To be women that build up and not tear down. The Bible tells us "that the older may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children."
Titus 2:4
To become women, that when she opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. And eateth not the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:26-27
Just a little bite about me.
My name is Dietra, I am a minister, mom, grandmom, daughter, sister, aunt, Registered Medical Assistant, and currently a Medical Assistant Instructor at a career school.
I have been in women's minister for over twenty years and teaching women the pure word of God empowering them has been a passion of mine. For the past few years I have not been as active in ministry as I was, but after several young women approached me about starting a women's group and praying about it, I couldn't ignore the tug on my heart that I needed to get back walking in my purpose.
So on January 28, 2024 we had our first meting at Panera Bread. It was informal but it was a start. I am so excites because we are in our growth and development stage.
Attached to this website is our boutique. The boutique is called "Precious Pieces" I created this boutiques with my seven granddaughters. The Bible says that the older women should teach the younger women. It is a responsibility as women, parents or grandparents to equip our younger women; physically, mentally, financially and Spiritually.
